What we collect
Your name, email address, and daily step counts read from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) — with your explicit permission. We collect step totals only: never routes, locations, heart rate, or any other health data.
How we use it
To run the product: showing your steps to you, your team, and your league’s leaderboards. Your daily totals are visible to members of your team and league — that’s the point of Steps. We don’t sell your data, we don’t share it with advertisers, and we don’t use it for anything beyond the app.
Where it lives
Your data is stored on servers in the EU and processed in line with the GDPR. Health-platform permissions stay on your phone — we receive only the step totals the platform releases to us.
Your rights
You can export or delete your account and full step history at any time in the app (Profile → Account) or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent and takes effect within 30 days. Revoking health permissions on your phone stops all syncing immediately.
